A short, honest description of what we collect when you visit this page or email us — and the third parties our setup runs through.
We don't set tracking cookies, don't sell data, don't build profiles. Visiting the holding page leaves a server log (IP, request metadata) at our hosting provider; emailing hello@ means your mail passes through Cloudflare's email routing and lands in two Gmails; and if you choose "Follow along", your email address is stored so we can tell you about launches. That's the whole story.
Better Together Technologies LLC (Delaware, United States) is the data controller for the personal information described below. Contact: [email protected].
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. By default, Cloudflare records standard request metadata — your IP address, user-agent string, referring URL, and the path you requested — to operate the service and protect against abuse. We don't add cookies on top of that.
If we enable Cloudflare Web Analytics, we'll see anonymised aggregate counts: page views, browser/OS bucket, country, and referrer. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless and does not fingerprint visitors.
If you write to [email protected], the message:
If we reply to you, the outbound mail is sent via Resend (which uses Amazon SES under the hood); your email address appears in their transactional logs.
If you use "Follow along" to get told when we launch, your email address is stored in our signups database, which is hosted on Railway. We use it only to tell you about launches, and we send a short confirmation when you sign up. To unsubscribe or have your address deleted, reply to any of our emails or write to [email protected] and we'll remove it.
The idea box at the end of the page doesn't send anything to a server. It opens your own email app with the idea and your email address filled in, and nothing is sent until you press send there. It then arrives like any other email to hello@ (see above). We use it only to read your idea and, if we build something from it, to tell you. How we treat the idea itself is covered in the Terms.
The typefaces are served from this site, so your browser doesn't contact Google Fonts or any other font service.
| Service | What it does for us | Their policy |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Hosts the page (Pages), serves DNS, routes inbound mail, optional analytics | cloudflare.com/privacypolicy |
| Google (Gmail) | Where the studio reads incoming mail | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Resend | Sends outbound mail from hello@ |
resend.com/legal/privacy-policy |
| Railway | Hosts the signups database and API behind "Follow along" (your email address) | railway.com/legal/privacy |
| GitHub | Hosts the source code (private) and runs the deploy automation | github.com/privacy |
We keep your "Follow along" email address in our signups database until you ask us to delete it. Beyond that, we don't retain anything in our own systems apart from email correspondence (which lives in our Gmail accounts) and the provider logs above (retained per each provider's policy). If you'd like us to delete an email exchange, ask and we will.
Under the UK GDPR / EU GDPR, our processing rests on:
You can ask us to:

BTT is in the United States; our visitors are global. Data described above will be processed in the US and in whichever regions our providers operate (Cloudflare and Resend run globally; Resend's relay region is currently us-east-1).
The site isn't directed at children under 13 (or 16 in some jurisdictions). We don't knowingly collect data from minors.
If we change this policy materially — adding a new third party, a new collection purpose, or anything else worth knowing — we'll update the "last updated" date above and, if it's significant enough, mention it on the page.
Privacy questions, requests, or complaints: [email protected]. UK/EU residents may also complain to their local data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).
